So, I feel like it's time and you guys deserve a better explanation than vague "I signed an NDA" from me, and the answer for why it took my over a year to update is pretty simple:

I have a lot of stuff to do and not a lot of time.

When I first started writing for the thread way back in 2021, it was to fill up the time I had after work and blow off some steam about it. These days, I don't just have the job and writing to look forward to, I have:

1. That (very busy) job I mentioned
2. Two different vehicles I'm restoring.
3. A computer collection
4. Lots of other little projects that take up my time and focus, including those two hmofa games I'm still working on. Unfortunately I still can't share much about them.

And that's just the stuff that's built into the schedule. I've had so much random stuff come up in my life that was pretty hard to get through, especially recently.

So it's been a long year for me, and to add on top of these actual responsibilities I just have poor focus in general. In order to get this chapter polished for you guys around this time I had taken to driving my nicer car to random places at night and leaving any devices capable of internet access behind so I could really knock it out. It's started to get easier as I've gotten into the groove and I've gotten to start working in scenes I'm really excited about, but writing remains one of a great many passions of mine.

In short, thanks to those of you who have put up with my slow output and still love the story, I appreciate you a lot.
